Brad Paisley Announces 2024 World Tour
Brad Paisley announced dates for his “Son Of The Mountains” World Tour, which will play in Europe in early 2024.
Brad posted the news to his Instagram, writing, “We’re gonna have a lot of fun in 2024…see ya soon!”
Five of the European tour dates are the C2C Festival, which will also feature headliners Kane Brown and Old Dominion. C2C posted to Instagram, “Your C2C 2024 line-up revealed. Join @kanebrown, @bradpaisley & @olddominionmusic, plus many more incredible artists, Fri 8th – Sun 10th March 2024 at @theo2london, @ovohydro & for the first time ever @thessearenabelfast. Tickets on general sale Fri 20th Oct 10 am via @gigsandtours & @axs_uk.”
Paisley told us recently about his forthcoming album, Son Of The Mountains, and its new direction. He said, “It’s a heavier time right now. It feels wrong for me personally to do a song that’s just positive right now. Most of the songs on this record have a real anchor of bittersweet. There’s no just sweet on here.”
He continued, “The first song I wrote for this record was ‘Son of the Mountains,’ which kind of started out as a fun thing, but then I say some things in that. The song is really about freedom. Freedom at all costs is a thing, and that’s kind of that song.”
Brad says the song’s co-writer, Lee Miller, had an uncle who ran moonshine. He explained, “It’s a true story: his uncle hauled moonshine across the state line into Tennessee and spent years in the federal prison. So that’s that song. Prohibition didn’t work in that part of the world. It was a disorganized crime there (West Virginia).”
