Wynonna Judd is sharing a new solo version of The Judds' classic Christmas song "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem." Wy said in a statement, "'Beautiful Star of Bethlehem' is one of the first Christmas songs I ever remember singing with Mom."

She added, "We recorded it in 1987 for the Christmas Time with The Judds album, and I still sing it to this day! Getting to re-record it with my husband & producer, Cactus Moser, 35 years later, was so special to me. It's rootsy & raw as if we're sitting around the fireplace singing together."

The song's lyrics include, "Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem / Shining far through shadows dimmed / Giving the light for those who long have gone / Guiding the wise men on their way / Unto the place where Jesus lay / Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem shine on."

Wynonna will host NBC's Christmas at the Opry special on December 7 at 8/7c. The show will feature performances from Kelly Clarkson, Chrissy Metz of This Is Us, Mickey Guyton, Trace Adkins, and more. The special will also re-air on December 20 at 9/8c.

Beyond her work with The Judds, Wynonna has a bunch of solo hits in the early 1990s, including "No One Else On Earth," "Tell Me Why," "She Is His Only Need," "Girls With Guitars," and "I Saw The Light."

Now returning to those solo roots, Wynonna has embarked on the "Back To Wy Tour," a set of shows where she performs her debut and sophomore solo albums back-to-back. The next "Back to Wy" show is at the Louisville Palace Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky.

All upcoming tour dates:

11/30 - Durham, NC @ Durham Performing Arts Center #
12/1 - Knoxville, TN @ Tennessee Theatre #
1/10 - Philadelphia, MS @ Ellis Theater

Since the shocking death of her mother, Naomi Judd, one day before The Judds were inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame in April, Wynonna Judd has been busy. She was, of course, was front and center at the memorial service for Naomi. She also performed at the Loretta Lynn memorial in October (2022). She hosted several superstar guest artists on "The Judds Final Tour" through Fall 2022 and early 2023.

As her "The Judds Final Tour" wraps this weekend (2/25) with special guest Tanya Tucker, we take a look at the many country stars that Wynonna has been performing with over the past year.
