Christmas Wish 2023 Video – Helping Families Here In The CSRA This Holiday

A few weeks ago, we wrapped up our Christmas Wish 2023.  With the help of our amazing listeners, we were able to raise money and provide Christmas gifts for five deserving families this holiday season.  We hosted the final wrap up at Jim Hudson Lexus.

It was a special day where we were able to meet the families in person.  And it was such a blessing to see the smiles and happy tears on the faces of each of them.

But again, we couldn't have done it without the help of our sponsors and those who donated.  Thank you, CSRA for your generous donations! We can't wait to see what next year will bring!

Kicks 99 has been celebrating the holiday season with Christmas Wish for the past few years. And every year, Kicks Country shows up in a BIG way.  After receiving the nominations, we had to narrow it down to just five families.  And this isn't an easy thing to do.

Reading the stories of these families is an eye-opening experience.  We don't always know what's going on in the lives of those around us.  It's a reminder to be thankful for what we have. And it's also a great opportunity to reach a hand out to help out other people in our community.

We selected the five families, and then reached out to Lil G's Wagons of Hope.  Gracey has been on a mission since she was 6 years old to bring wagons and toys to so many kids in need.  And this year was no different.  They came in this morning with loads of toys and wagons for each family.  She and her sister both have a huge heart for others.  It's truly inspiring to see their generosity!

We also posted each family's story and a link to donate to each one. If you haven't, you can still read those stories and donate.

We also were able to gift each family some gift certificates for Christmas dinner from WifeSaver.  A huge thank you to them for donating to these families.  In addition, each family received gift cards to help in any way they needed them.

And the entire thing was hosted by Jim Hudson Automotive Group.  A huge thank you to them for collecting donations at Jim Hudson Lexus, Jim Hudson Acura, and Jim Hudson Cadillac.  Also, thanks for providing the space for us to host the final Christmas Wish wrap up broadcast at Jim Hudson Lexus.

As of the end of the broadcast this morning, with the gifts and toys, gift cards, and donations from listeners, we collected over $11,000 worth to help these families.  So, thank you, Kicks Country, for continuing to support and love our community.  We couldn't do all of this without YOU!
