Shelter Dog Escapes Kennel – Video Of The Day
This video of a shelter dog who escapes his kennel just made my day. Maybe I have a little soft spot for rebels! But how funny that his name is King? Because in this video, he looks to be the king of the shelter. He somehow manages to escape his kennel, then opens a door to another area in the shelter where he proceeds to make a huge mess.
Here’s The Security Camera Footage:
Shelter Dog Escapes Kennel
The rescue is Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, based in Tempe, Arizona. In an article from Fox 4, the founder of the rescue said she was notified that the alarm was going off around midnight or 1 a.m. When she first pulled up the camera, she didn’t see anything. But shortly after, she could see the mess that King had made.
Apparently, King let himself out and even tried to bust his friends out too. I think the poor guy was just looking to party! But, he was soon busted. Because the alarm was going off, the Tempe Police Department sent an officer out to the shelter.
The responding officer managed to get King back to his bed. But he even took it a step further and cleaned up the mess King made. The founder of the rescue watched footage later on and realized what the officer had done. She was shocked and grateful for his kindness. He didn’t want to be named, but they have dubbed him “Mr. Clean.”
