Y'all have got to check out this Cole Swindell and Hardy collaboration. It came out a couple of years ago, but I'd be willing to bet that a lot of people probably haven't heard it. This is one of those songs that I bet you'll be singing the rest of the day. It gets stuck in your head, but not in an annoying way. This is the song I'm featuring on Dub's Playlist this week.
Getting Ready For Cole Swindell At Rock Fore Dough
Of course you probably know by now that Cole Swindell and Randy Houser are coming to Rock Fore Dough April 9th. This is the 20th anniversary of Rock Fore Dough, and it's going to be an awesome show. Last week, I featured one of my favorite Randy Houser songs. So I figured it was only fitting that I featured Cole Swindell this week.
And what's better than just Cole Swindell on a song? Cole Swindell and Hardy! This song came out back in April of 2022. You'll find it on Cole's "Stereotype" album. I really wish that this song would've been a radio single, I'm honestly not sure why it wasn't. This could've been a big hit for both Cole Swindell and Hardy.
Like I said before, I bet this song will be stuck in your head the rest of the day. Sometimes when that happens, it's a song that you don't want stuck in your head. This song is one that I don't think you'll mind singing all day. Maybe Cole will sing this one next Tuesday at the 20th anniversary of Rock Fore Dough. If he does, you can bet I'll be singing along as loud as possible.

Cole Swindell and Hardy "Down To The Bar"
Speaking of Cole Swindell, I've had the chance to spend quite a bit of time with him over the years. Here are some of my favorite memories with Cole.
Dub’s Memories With Cole Swindell
I've been fortunate enough to have some memories with Cole Swindell. Today is Cole's 40 birthday, so I figured today would be a great day to reminisce on some of those memories. I go way back with Cole, and its really cool how he has never forgotten us here in the CSRA. He's always there to help us when we need him. You'll hear some of those stories, just read on.
I remember the day we were first introduced to Cole Swindell. He was a brand new artist and came by to play us some of his music. We were so impressed, we knew this guy was going to be a star. After he sang, Cole and his band and record rep went with us to Big Daddy's. Big Daddy's is a BBQ place that used to be next door to the radio station.
While we were there we told Cole that we were going to officially start playing his song "Chillin' It" that Monday. He was so excited and we started doing shots of Fireball! Cole has never forgotten that, we still talk about that story. Cole has played our Guitar Pull on two separate occasions, he played in 2016 and 2018.
Another cool Cole story is being able to help him celebrate his birthday with 20,000 of y'all. It was announced that Cole was going to headline the Independence Celebration at Fort Gordon back in 2016. The show just so happened to fall on Cole's birthday, and 20,000 people showed up to help him celebrate. I just remember how blown away he was by that.
