This Is My Favorite Summer Cocktail And It's Really Easy To Make
Dub

This has been my favorite Summer cocktail for years now. When I tell people what it is they usually look at me a little funny. This drink contains two flavors that you don't particularly think would go together, but not only do they go together, they're delicious together. I think if you try this drink, it'll be one of your go-to Summer drinks as well, of course, if you're over the age of 21.

This Summer Cocktail Is So Good

I was introduced to my favorite Summer cocktail several years ago. I was reading an interview with country artist Kip Moore. In the interview, he said that he really enjoyed Malibu coconut rum and ginger ale. Kip said it was really refreshing. Not long after I read this interview, I went on a cruise. Well since we're on a ship and on the water I decided to try Malibu and ginger ale, and y'all, it was soooo good!

There is nothing wrong with making this drink with Malibu if you want. I prefer Kenny Chesney's Blue Chair Bay coconut rum though. I'm not going to lie, when I tell people about my favorite Summer cocktail, I usually get some weird looks. Then I say "Let me make you one". After that, those weird looks usually turn into looks of "Can I get another one of those?!"

It happens every time!

So if you're looking for something to sip on out by the pool this summer, give this a try. I have a feeling you'll like it!

Waste away with five simple ingredients: Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, ice and kosher salt. Don't waste your time with sour mix.

Negroni

The Negroni is equal parts London dry gin, Campari and vermouth rosso, and it's equal parts satisfying and refreshing.

Pina Colada

Rum, pineapple juice, coconut cream and ice all blended together, the Pina Colada is an island paradise in a glass, regardless of whether or not you enjoy getting caught in the rain.

You could serve this tropical delight in a tiki-style glass, but a standard large Collins glass is just as fun with this dark rum-based cocktail.

Paloma

The Paloma has had a bit of a resurgence, and it's understandable why. Tequila, lime juice, and grapefruit soda on the rocks? What's not to love?

Hurricane

Saving the sweetest for last. A Hurricane is like dessert in a glass! Created in New Orleans, this dark rum, passion fruit syrup and lemon juice cocktail is traditionally garnished with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry. Laissez le bon temps rouler, indeed!
