There's a new food truck festival coming to Evans this weekend. The first ever Chill N' Grill Food Festival is happening Friday, June 21st through Sunday, June 23rd at Evans Towne Center Park. This first time event was established by PK. LLC.
The Chill N' Grill Food Festival
The Chill N' Grill Food Festival kicks off on Friday at 3 p.m. and will wrap up on Sunday at 6 p.m. Admission is free. There will be a variety of food trucks on site, along with music, inflatables, and more fun for the whole family.
The three day festival will host a variety of food vendors and food trucks. There will be something for any appetite, including BBQ, burgers, desserts, and more.
The Event Brite posting says there will be 25+ food trucks and 25+ small business vendors. A few that are mentioned on the Facebook event page includes:
- Island Stylin Concessions - Serving up "classic carnival treats with a twist!"
- Skinner Snacks - Serving customers the "very best gourmey snacks they've ever had." They'll have freeze-dried candy, premium beef jerky, homegrown popcorn, and drinks.
- Cheers & Gears Inc. - Serving "ice cold beverages poured from a classic 1948 Jeep Willys Panel Van."

22 Crossroads Coffeehouse Is Now Open In Grovetown
I went by to check out 22 Crossroads Coffeehouse in Grovetown yesterday, and it was really good! They are located at 284 Meridian Drive in Grovetown, which is basically across the street from the Grovetown Walmart. To be more exact, they're between Cold Stone and Shepeard Blood Center.
22 Crossroads Coffeehouse Has Something For Everyone
If you're familiar with Grovetown then you'll know that Nine Line Apparel and The Bunker Cafe were previously in that spot. They closed a few months back. Well, for a few weeks now when I'd ride by, I saw a new logo on the front of the building, and I wondered what it was. This past weekend I rode by and saw on the front door that it was 22 Crossroads Coffeehouse.
They're doing their soft open right now, but they are ready to serve you. They've got coffee, smoothies, energy drinks, specialty drinks, and more. I went by yesterday to check it out. Considering it was the middle of the morning, I wasn't really feeling a coffee, so I decided to go the energy drink route. I ordered one of the Lotus energy drinks.
It was blended and tasted like an orange creamsicle, which is one of my favorite flavors. Let me tell you, it was delicious! I'll definitely be swinging through 22 Crossroads Coffeehouse on a regular basis.
