Jason Kempin/Getty ImagesThis is for sure one of my favorite new Scotty McCreery songs. I feel like Scotty has been on a roll as of late. Over the past few years, he's just been releasing great song after great song and hit after hit. However, his latest album "Rise & Fall" is the best he's ever done, in my opinion. There isn't a bad song on that album, but the song I'm featuring this week is one of my favorites.
Scotty McCreery Has A History Of Releasing Great Songs
Look at the list of Scotty McCreery songs, there are some great ones on there. "Damn Strait", "Cab In A Solo", "Five More Minutes", I could keep going on and on. Scotty has really come into his own as an artist. And the cool thing is, we've kinda had a front-row seat for it here in Kicks Country. We've watched Scotty grow up.
Scotty played in Augusta for the first time back in 2011 at Kicks99's Guitar Pull. He was fresh off his American Idol win that year. However, since then he's played shows for The Augusta Red Cross, The Police Benevolent Foundation, Via Cognitive Health, and he's played Kicks99's Guitar Pull two more times in 2021 and 2023.
There are a lot of great Scotty McCreery songs on this latest album. I think he's got several hit songs, "Cab In A Solo" has already been a hit, and I think this song is going to be right up there with it.

I told you that we've watched Scotty grow up over the years here in Kicks Country, let's take a look back at some of those moments.
Dub’s Memories With Kicks99 Guitar Pull Star Scotty McCreery
I've had the opportunity to hang out with Kicks99 Guitar Pull star Scotty McCreery quite a bit over the years. He's always been a great guy. Scotty has always been there to help no matter what the cause might've been. He's helped out The Augusta Chapter of The American Red Cross, The Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer's Care (now Via Cognitive Health) and so many more.
I joke all the time that Scotty is the only man that my grandma loves just as much as me. She had two phones going at the same time calling to vote for Scotty to win American Idol. I'm convinced that my Nanny helped Scotty win back in 2011. 2011 was also the first time Scotty McCreery would perform in Kicks County. He played Guitar Pull that year and was the most popular artist by far. I think that's when Augusta fell in love with Scotty McCreery.
Over the years, Scotty has been here multiple times, mostly to help with benefit shows. He's played Music For Memories and The Red Cross Boot Scoot Boogie Bash. Scotty also performed at Rock For The Cops back in 2016. He was also the final artist to ever play A Day in the Country back in 2015. See what I mean when I say that Scotty has a pretty good relationship with Augusta?
This year will be Scotty's third time playing at the Kicks99 Guitar Pull and we can't wait to have him back. If you want to check out the latest updates from Scotty, just click here.
If you missed our latest conversation with Scotty McCreery and him playing Can't Beat Cody last week. you can catch all of that here.
These are some of my favorite memories with Scotty.
Guitar Pull 2011

This was the first time that Scotty ever performed in Augusta. This was before the 2011 Kicks99 Guitar Pull
Boot Scoot Boogie Bash

When we needed an artist to help raise money for the Augusta chapter of the American Red Cross, Scotty was ready to come in and help.
A Day in the Country

Scotty was the final artist to ever play A Day in the Country back in 2015.
Rock For The Cops

Like I said before, Scotty is always willing to come in and help raise money for a great cause. Rock For The Cops 2016 was no different.
Rock Fore Dough 2018

Scotty loves playing golf and playing in Augusta. Rock Fore Dough mixes those two loves.
