TikTok Sensation Belle Frantz Covers Conway Twitty
Belle Frantz… I stumbled upon this young woman on TikTok a few weeks ago. And since then, I’ve had a few people mention her to me. I will say, she is not only beautiful, but extremely talented too.
Check out Belle doing a cover of Conway Twitty’s “Hello Darlin'”:
After seeing this video, I had to dig a little more into who this young lady was! According to WCBI, Belle is from Monroe County, Mississippi. In December 2023, they wrote about Belle moving to Tennessee after scoring a record deal. The 20 year old says she grew up listening to classic country with her granddad and “got the singing bug” but didn’t actually start singing in front of anyone until she was 17 or 18. Then she took to social media, where things moved pretty quick.
A video of Belle singing Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” blew up and she had record labels reaching out to her. And in November 2023, she signed a deal with Universal Music Group Nashville. Just recently, Belle released her EP called Why I Sing This Way. It includes covers of George Jones’ “The Grand Tour,” Conway Twitty’s “Hello Darlin’,” and Reba McEntire’s “The Last One To Know.”
Belle Frantz – Classic Country Sound
I love the fact that she has such a traditional country sound… reminiscent of Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and Dolly Parton. It seems Belle is also a huge Reba fan too. Check out this video of Reba reacting to Belle singing “Fancy.”
Honestly, it’s refreshing to hear a young artist bringing back some of that classic country vibe. Of course, she’s not the only artist bringing us some of those vibes. We’ve been talking about that a lot with Zach Top and his classic country sound! Zach, of course, is going to be part of our 25th Anniversary of Kicks 99’s Guitar Pull this year. We can’t wait for that. And maybe Belle Frantz can be on a future Guitar Pull lineup… maybe?
