We've talked about this before, but, apparently, it's making the rounds again because TikTokers are back to rubbing banana peels on their faces. They claim the skins reduce wrinkles, hydrate the skin, and soothe. Mhmm. Social media influencers say that the riper the bananas, the better. They are rich in potassium and nutrients. So there you have it. If you wanna give it a try.
Now let me because I remember we talked about this too. People rubbing, like, potatoes on their faces and stuff like that. There's all sorts of stuff. I know we've talked about this before. You know, you're into your skin care routines and all that kind of stuff. Are you're gonna be rubbing nanners on your face?
I don't plan on it. Okay. Good. Hey. Look. If I come in here one day and I see you rubbing banana peels on your face... Oh, I wouldn't do it in public. I would do that in the privacy of my own home. Let me tell you. You wouldn't even tell me about it. It would be one of those scenarios where we'd be out somewhere, and your fiance David would be there and be like he'd pull me up something.
Did she tell you what she been doing at home? And I'd be like... he would tell on me. That's for sure. And I would thank him for doing it. Look. All I know is if I start going to the grocery store and can't find bananas because y'all rubbing the peels on your faces, I'm gonna be very upset.
And other women are washing their hair and rubbing their scalps with flaxseeds. I'm gonna only assume for, like, exfoliation purposes, but I think there are shampoos for that. Yeah.
Just like there's face washes and moisturizers and stuff like that, you don't have to rub bananas on your face. This is true.
And this sounds like a lot of fun. M&M's has launched a sweepstakes that is going to allow one lucky winner to have a sleepover with four friends at the brand's flagship store in Times Square. Okay. Now this does sound pretty cool. Yeah. So it'll be the first time that M&M's World will be open for an overnight experience since it opened back in 2006. Okay.
The event will feature board games, video games, friendship bracelets, and glamping activities. Okay. Of course, the group will get to eat plenty of M&M's and sample an exclusive new flavor mix. Okay. So if you wanna do that, you can enter the sweepstakes by signing up online for the company's rewards program. And the value of this little sleepover, $10,000.
I mean, this is cool because, basically, it's a free trip to New York. You're going to Times Square. You're gonna get to stay at M&M's World. You're gonna get to eat all the M&M's you want. Try new ones before anybody else. It's gonna be a really cool experience for somebody.
Okay. I'm gonna go sign up for this. If Cody's gone for a few days in the near future, you know, she's in New York.
So we talked about, you know, in the past over the past several months, you know, Netflix raising costs and Hulu and Disney plus and everybody. All these streaming services are raising their costs, trying to gain more members and memberships and people to sign up and all that stuff. But there's also been a lot of people that have canceled their Netflix subscriptions and yeah things like that because of the price hike. Well, I can tell you this.
As you can assume, Netflix isn't worried about it. If you cancel your subscription, doesn't bother them one bit. Apparently, data from Antenna shows that 50% of subscribers rejoin within six months and 61% within a year. Can you imagine? Like, if you're Mister Netflix or something like that and somebody comes to you and says, hey. Hey. There's about 40 people that are about to cancel their subscription.
I'm not worried about it. Why not? They'll be back. Yeah. I believe it. I mean, think like, because here's the thing. There's gonna be something you're gonna wanna watch. Right?
Like, you're gonna cancel it, and then you're gonna see something on Facebook or Instagram. It's like, oh, where can I watch that? Netflix.
Yeah. I mean, that's happened for me. Like, I wanna go back to Apple TV, because there's a show that they've launched a new season. Yeah. And so now I'm like, well, I guess I'm gonna have to add that back to my subscription list. Time to come crawling back.
