Well, we all know that a lot of things that we have here in the US come from China. Yes, they’re made in China.
[Dub]
Yes.
[Cody]
And unfortunately, 80% of toys in the US come from China and the prices on those toys are expected to skyrocket because of tariffs. The prices are expected to rise by 15 to 20% on games, dolls and cars. Toy companies are scrambling to renegotiate prices, but retailers are already receiving notices of immediate price increases from suppliers.
[Dub]
And I don’t know if you’ve, you know, checked out the toy aisle recently.
[Cody]
I don’t really have a need to check out the toy aisle.
[Dub]
I didn’t know if you wanted to, you know, just see what was happening in the toy world. But look, toys ain’t cheap. All right. And so they were already not cheap before. And now they’re gonna be even more not cheap. I’m gonna be playing some sticks out here. I mean, like, it’s just, it’s crazy how expensive everything is now.
[Cody]
Yeah. So maybe start your Christmas shopping now and spread it out over the course of the year.
[Dub]
Exactly.
[Cody]
And I don’t trust people driving on the road. So this really freaks me out. But there is this Alef Aeronautics. They are creating a flying car that looks like a real car. It’s an electric vehicle. It can take off vertically and fly in all directions.
[Dub]
This is the Jetsons. This sounds super cool. It does. This is Back to the Future. This is the DeLorean from Back to the Future.
[Cody]
Yeah. Now this can also be driven on roads, but only up to 25 miles per hour.
[Dub]
Okay. So it can fly, but it can’t even do 30.
[Cody]
Yeah. I think that’s kind of weird. But apparently a lot of people are excited about it because there have been over 3,200 pre-orders made for the car at that cost almost $300,000.
[Dub]
Well, I mean, hey, look, I mean, one nice thing would be you’d never have to sit in traffic, right? I mean, if you’re on the road, there’s a traffic. Just take off. All right. See y’all later, you know.
But you’re right. There are some people that can’t handle four wheels on the road, let alone four wheels on the road and in the air. Yeah, scary.
I’m anxious to see what happens with this. I think somebody needs to do a welfare check on this fellow. I need to know if he’s still with us. There’s a fella named Mike Jack. He’s from Canada and he recently devoured 25, not one, not two, not five, but 25 Carolina Reaper peppers in under five minutes.
Yikes. Now, the Carolina Reaper is like one of the hottest peppers like ever, right? Like it’s one of those where people aren’t even recommended to eat like a half a one. Right. How did this guy eat 25 in less than five minutes? I have no idea.
[Cody]
Like, do you think he’s still with us? I don’t know. He might be like the guy that was eating burning charcoal and like his insides are just obliterated.

I can promise you this. If this guy is still alive, he’s not doing well.
