Augusta is abuzz with festive events throughout Independence Day weekend, offering something for everyone — from patriotic concerts and historic reenactments to riverside paddles and rooftop parties. Whether you're soaking in symphonic fireworks at SRP Park, kayaking under the stars, or stepping back in time at Meadow Garden, there's no shortage of ways to celebrate the Fourth. Augusta Symphony Fireworks Spectacular

  • What: Concert under the stars with the Augusta Symphony, topped off with fireworks
  • When: Friday, July 4, 2025, at 8 p.m.
  • Where: SRP Park, 187 Railroad Ave., North Augusta, South Carolina 
  • Cost: $16 to $25

Celebrate Independence Day with the Augusta Symphony at SRP Park's Fireworks Spectacular. Enjoy a unique evening of patriotic music under the stars, followed by a dazzling fireworks finale. This special event is a standalone performance and is not scheduled in conjunction with a GreenJackets baseball game. Bring your friends and family for a night of music, community, and celebration.

Red, White, and Dudes Fireworks Two-Night Event

  • What: Enjoy fireworks from the water with Two Dudes and a Boat Kayak Rentals
  • When: Thursday, July 3, and Friday, July 4, 2025, at 7 p.m. — last call at 7:45
  • Where: 5th Street Marina, 1 Fifth St., Augusta
  • Cost: $25 to $120

Celebrate Red, White, and Dudes with two nights of fireworks paddles on the Savannah River. On July 3, launch from 5th Street Marina to catch the Augusta GreenJackets' post-game fireworks over SRP Park. Return July 4 for Round Two Times Two — enjoy the SRP Park and City of Augusta fireworks displays from the water. Check-in begins at 7 p.m. each night. Kayak renters meet at the terrace in front of the gift shop and BYO kayaks at the boat ramp. Red, White, and Dudes offer a one-of-a-kind view of Independence Day celebrations from your paddle seat.

Independence Day at Meadow Garden

  • What: Celebrate Independence Day at Meadow Garden
  • When: Friday, July 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Where: Meadow Garden, 1320 Independence Drive, Augusta
  • Cost: Free

Celebrate Independence Day at Meadow Garden, the historic home of George Walton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Experience a live reading of the Declaration just as it was in 1776, witness a Revolutionary cannon salute, and explore an authentic soldiers' camp display. Enjoy live music, children's activities such as quill pen writing, and a Puppet Theater. Tour the period rooms of the house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and step back in time for a patriotic celebration the whole family will enjoy.
