A new online tool launched in Edgefield County schools allows parents to track and report bus service issues. The quick system works on phones and computers, making it simple for families to speak up.

"We're very excited to provide our community with a new platform they can easily access to share important information with us related to student transportation," said Public Information Officer Mike Rosier, in an Edgefield County Schools release.

Staff will answer all messages within 24 to 48 hours. Parents click a Google Forms link on the school website to send their thoughts.

This change occurred after police stopped an Edgefield County bus driver whom they thought was under the influence. Parents then pushed hard for better supervision of school buses.

School leaders want parents to know their input makes a real difference in keeping kids safe on the road. This new step looks to build on years of safe driving by bus staff.
