Western Carolina State Fair Runs Through Oct. 19 With Special Deals

The Western Carolina State Fair lights up Aiken Fairgrounds at 561 May Royal Drive until Oct. 19. Since its Oct. 10, 2025, start, crowds have flocked to watch daredevil motorcyclists soar through the air and skilled dogs perform tricks.

"I think it's great, it looks great, the prices were good," said Kobei Brown, according to WRDW/WAGT. "I think I'll have a great time. It's not too big, not too small."

Gates open at 5 p.m. weekdays and at noon on weekends. Ticket sales stop at 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday sales run until 9:30 p.m. After that, the rides run for one more hour.

Adult tickets are $10, while kids 5 are free. A $35 Magic Pass opens the door to endless rides plus admission. Tuesdays feature an unlimited ride band for $15, and on Wednesdays, you can bring 10 canned goods for free entry. Youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
