Workers renovated buildings on Bobby Jones Expressway and Evans to Locks Road in Martinez, plus two other sites on Wrightsboro Road and South Belair Road.
The Bobby Jones Expressway Supercenter at 260 Bobby Jones Expressway took 16 weeks to finish. Workers threw a re-grand opening party on Oct. 31, 2025. The 220,431-square-foot building got a Dunkin' shop, new registers, refinished floors, new paint, and brighter lights in restrooms.
The Martinez Neighborhood Market at 3851 Evans to Locks Road needed 14 weeks. Its re-grand opening happened on Oct. 24, 2025. This 34,078-square-foot building received new concrete floors, new paint, and a screen for showing information in the deli.
Both locations now have wellness rooms inside their pharmacies. These private spaces work for medical tests and treatments, vaccinations, and nursing mothers.
"With these impactful store upgrades, our customers will be able to enjoy an improved shopping experience, as new registers will enable swift checkouts and Dunkin' coffee can provide a little extra shopping energy," said Yvonne Crawford, store manager at the Bobby Jones location, according to Augusta CEO.
Before 2025 arrived, the retailer spent more than $1.1 billion fixing up stores throughout Georgia over five years. The company runs 209 retail units and 13 supply chain buildings in Georgia, giving jobs to over 65,000 workers in the state.
