The Back Nine Golf Holds Grand Opening at New Aiken Indoor Golf Simulator

The Back Nine Golf opened in Aiken on Dec. 2, 2025, at 756 Silver Bluff Road in the Centre South Shopping Center. Pro golfer Kevin Kisner and fellow pro Scott Brown are among eight partners who own this new indoor simulator.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony happened at lunchtime, organized by the Aiken Chamber of Commerce. The grand opening celebration kicked off in the afternoon. Several hundred people showed up, Kisner said.

Players can tee off on famous courses like St. Andrews, Pebble Beach, Muirfield Village, and Bonnie Doon without leaving the building. Full Swing Technology powers the simulators, which Brown called "state of the art."

A Golden Tee arcade machine sits in one corner. There is also a practice putting green.

Kevin Kisner works as an NBC lead golf analyst. The ownership group includes Josh Cline, Ray Massey, and Will Durrett from Aiken, plus three investors based in Augusta. This same partnership runs a location in Augusta.

"We are excited to bring a business to a community that we believe can support it," said Kevin Kisner, according to The Post and Courier. "We feel like this is a great place for families and friends, and this was the market to do it in. We love our hometown and want to be part of it."

Pro golfer Andre Lacey, who coaches the men's and women's golf teams at Paine College, attended the grand opening. He praised the simulator technology because it gives swing speed data, ball spin information, and distance measurements.

Memberships offer 24/7 access and unlimited tee times. Public play is available if you prefer to book individual tee times online without committing to membership.
