North Augusta Toy Store Moving to Larger Location With Play, Party Options
Orange Otter will relocate to 507 Georgia Ave. in downtown North Augusta this January.

Orange Otter will relocate to 507 Georgia Ave. in downtown North Augusta this January. The space spans 2,600 square feet, nestled between The Grove and Pink Dipper.
Owner Aubrey Hinkson shared the news in late December with the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce. The current shop sits at 336 Georgia Ave., squeezed between the UPS Store and South State Bank.
Hinkson launched the business three years ago in August 2022. Customers flocked in. Demand grew. This created an opportunity to widen both the sales floor and what the shop could offer.
The bigger space will feature designated zones where kids can test toys before buying them. Hinkson handpicks each item, seeking out playthings that can help inspire creativity and exploration.
There is magic in play. Room for play lets young visitors engage and interact with their favorite items before taking them home.
Birthday parties can now happen at the shop, with families able to rent the entire venue. A broader selection of children's books will join the inventory, too.
The 1940s construction speaks to the toy stores of old. Staying downtown means Orange Otter remains within walking distance of other North Augusta spots kids love.
