Preciball USA will pour $17.6 million into a fresh production site in Screven County. This move brings 65 jobs over the coming years. The ball bearing maker crafts precision and industrial balls that serve countless industries.

The new manufacturing hub will sit at the Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development-certified Screven County Industrial Park in Sylvania. Pooler's main offices are staying put.

The maker's products end up in bearings, pumps, valves, and swivel joints. This site will produce components that industrial and specialized engineering markets depend on.

"Preciball USA is one of the small-to-medium-sized manufacturers whose products are critical to entire industries that call Georgia home, and we are proud of their continued growth in the No. 1 state to do business," said Gov. Brian Kemp, per a news release.

Stephen Milner chairs the Screven County Development Authority. He said the project shows what years of groundwork can accomplish. "This project reflects years of preparation at the Screven County Industrial Park, and we are proud to support a precision manufacturer that brings high-quality jobs and long-term economic value to our community," said Milner.

The company belongs to the Precision Ball Group. That's a worldwide organization with roots in Belgium's Peltzer & Fils Group, which stretches back centuries. The Peltzer & Fils Group started in the early 18th century.

Hiring kicks off in 2027. The operation will scout for management staff, engineers, quality technicians, maintenance workers, and production employees.
