Rock Fore! Dough And First Tee – Augusta History:

Throughout the years, artists such as Darius Rucker, Hootie & The Blowfish, Lady A, Sam Hunt, Zac Brown Band, Riley Green, Brothers Osborne, and more have performed at Rock Fore! Dough and helped raise over $1.7 million for First Tee – Augusta.

First Tee – Augusta is an organization to promote life skills and the love of golf in our youth. Their mission is:

“First Tee – Augusta is committed to building the strength of character in youth through a seamless integration of golf and life skills curriculum based on their Core Values: Courtesy, Respect, Judgment, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Honesty, Integrity, and Perseverance. We place special emphasis on engaging low to moderate-income youth, minorities, girls, students with disabilities, and those from underserved populations, ensuring that no student or group is turned away based on their inability to pay.”

Cole Swindell:

Cole Swindell was born in Bronwood, Georgia.  His music career began when he was in college.  Cole attended Georgia Southern, where he would meet Luke Bryan. The two became friends, and once Cole left college in 2007, he joined Luke’s team and sold merchandise. During his free time, Cole would spend time writing songs.

In 2010, Cole signed with Sony/ATV Publishing and Luke Bryan recorded some of his songs. But Cole wrote for other artists too, including Thomas Rhett, Scotty McCreery, and Craig Campbell. A few years later, Cole took a leap into his own performing career and released “Chillin’ It” independently. That caught Warner Music Nashville’s attention and they signed him in July 2013.

In 2015, Cole Swindell won New Artist of the Year at the ACMs. From there, Cole’s career has continued to grow with many hit songs throughout the years. We are excited to have this Georgia boy back in his home state and headlining the 20th anniversary of Drive for Show, Rock Fore! Dough during golf week here in Augusta.
