Dub And Maddie- A Father's Day Photo Album

Maddie doesn’t always want to hold my hand, but when she does, it melts my heart. I hope she never gets too big to hold daddy’s hand.

I thought it would be cool to do a Father's Day photo album. This year will be my second Father's Day, so I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures with my daughter. We've taken so many pictures over the last almost two years that narrowing them down was the hardest part of this whole thing.

Special Memories For Father's Day

As I was making this Father's Day photo album I started thinking about how many memories I have with my daughter Maddie. I'll tell you, this has been the fastest two years of my life. Maddie will be two coming up in September. Looking back at these pictures reminds me just how much she's grown and changed in such a short period of time.

I can still vividly remember the day she was born. When I saw her for the first time, my life changed right then and there. In that moment, I knew that my life was no longer about me. My life was now about this little girl and taking care of her and keeping her safe. She became my life in the blink of an eye. Holding her for the first time was absolutely incredible.

She has become my little best friend. I love spending time with her. Picking her up from daycare every day is my favorite part of the day. Watching her learn new things and grow and change has been such a cool experience. Now I'm not going to lie, it hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows. Raising kids is one of the hardest and craziest yet most fun and most rewarding things ever!

By the way, if you need any last-minute Father's Day gifts, check these out.

Happy Father's Day to all of the dads out there, I hope y'all have a great one.

She Was So Little

I think Maddie was about a week old when this picture was taken. She was so little, I kinda miss being able to hold her like this.

Visiting Daddy At Work

DadB.jpgDub

This is the first time Maddie visited the Kicks studio. She slept through most of the experience.

Go Dawgs!

DadC.jpgDub

Just like Daddy, Maddie is a Georgia fan. She doesn't really know it yet, but trust me, she's a Dawgs fan.

Hangin' With Daddy At Work

DadD.jpgDub

Kelsey was sick one day so I had to bring Maddie back up to work with me. She even sat in on a conference call.

Maddie's First Rock Fore Dough

DadE.jpgDub

My daughter is going to go to a lot of concerts during her lifetime, and this was one of her first ones. She didn't get to stay a long time, but she had fun while she was there.

My Little Beach Baby

DadF.jpgDub

This was Maddie's first time at the beach, she wasn't quite sure what to make of it at first.

Guitar Pull Ticket Stop Visits

DadG.jpgDub

I love when Maddie comes to visit me at our on location events, including Guitar Pull ticket stops.

Lights Of The South

DadH.jpgDub

My wife and I go to Lights Of The South every year during the Christmas season. We love sharing that tradition with Maddie now.

Reading Our Books

DadI.jpgDub

Maddie loves books. One of my favorite things to do with her is read our books at night.

I'll Always Hold Your Hand

Maddie doesn't always want to hold my hand, but when she does, it melts my heart. I hope she never gets too big to hold daddy's hand.
