This is Baby Maddie’s 11 month baby update. It’s crazy to think that this is her last monthly update before she turns a year old. I know that I’ve said it a lot over the past 11 months, but where has the time gone? So many parents have told Kelsey and I how fast time moves now that we’re parents, and they weren’t kidding.
I look back at pictures of Maddie when she was 3 months old or 5 or 6 months old and I can’t remember her being that little anymore. Is that weird? It wasn’t that long ago, but its hard to remember those days now. Maddie has done a lot of growing up in the last several weeks. She’s crawling now and pulling herself up on everything she can.
Unfortunately she’s gotten a few bumps and bruises from trying to pull up on things, but I suppose thats all part of growing up right? She loves crawling around in her room and downstairs in the living room. Exploring is one of her favorite things to do right now. She’s also gotten “mama” and “dada” down now, she says both all the time now. However, right now Maddie’s favorite thing to say is “uh oh”.
The cool thing is she says it when she’s supposed to. If she drops her bottle or her sippy cup, she’ll look down and say “uh oh”. It’s the cutest thing ever! She’s got five teeth now and she pretty much eats some of what Kelsey and I have for dinner every night. We’re elbow deep in the planning process for her first birthday party right now. Again, I don’t know where the time has gone.
