Baby Maddie’s Latest Adventures

Y'all have got to check out these pictures from some of Baby Maddie's latest adventures. Its crazy to think that she's nine months old now. We'll be celebrating her first birthday before we know it. She's really been learning a lot and experiencing a lot these last few weeks. So I thought now might be a good time to update y'all on what she's been up to.

One of the first questions I get asked when I'm out these days is "how's the baby doing?" She's been doing great! Of course y'all have seen the videos of her saying "mama" and "dada". If you missed those you can check them out here and here. However, thats not where it ends. She's started eating solid food, and not just her purees.

Maddie loves French toast! She also loves crackers and pretty much anything you put in front of her. Some things are more popular than others, but she's trying everything. Another thing we're finding that Maddie really likes is water. Whether its her inflatable pool in the yard, or the neighborhood pool, she loves splashing around. She even went on her first boat trip up at Clarks Hill, and yep she loved that too!

She did have a big milestone just yesterday. Maddie had her first surgery. It wasn't anything big, just ear tubes, but she came through it like a champ. The only thing that she wasn't a fan of was the whole coming out of anesthesia part. That made her a little cranky, but after about 30-45 minutes she was all good again.
