Saturday Market in Downtown Augusta

It’s been a while since I’ve been to the Saturday Market, but I swear it’s grown quite a bit since last time!

Last week, I told David, my fiancé, that since we actually had a Saturday off, we should head to downtown Augusta.  We love the Saturday Market, but it's been SO long since we've been.  If we weren't working on a Saturday, we'd been taking day trips on the motorcycle to visit places we'd never been (like Buc-ee's)!

After I got up and walked the dogs and got my run in, we got ready to head downtown.  It was already after 10 a.m. so the market was pretty crowded! And, to top it off, it was really warm, and only getting warmer!  Our firsts stop was to grab some fresh lemonade to enjoy while we checked everything out.

I forgot just how much stuff they have at the market! Since it's been so long, I swear there are way more vendors than before!  There's a little bit of everything you can imagine.  Fresh fruits and vegetables, sauces, jellies, jams, apparel, hats, and more.  We walked around for a bit to check everything out, walked down by the river, then headed back toward Broad Street to walk around Downtown Augusta.

After leaving downtown, we went to Timms Harley-Davidson to drop off the motorcycle for service, then Twin Peaks for lunch.  Saturday afternoon, I stopped by to see my friends at Nine Line Apparel in Grovetown to grab a Black Rifle Coffee from the café.  Then my Saturday was wrapped up at Señor Mezcal, where I enjoyed an Exotic Margarita and some delicious food! Overall, I had a great weekend, and hope you did too!
