This was one of my favorite views from the course.
DubI just got back from a golf trip in Mississippi, and my buddies and I had an absolute blast! We were there celebrating our friend JT's bachelor trip. He's getting married at the end of September, and he wanted to take a guy's golf trip for his bachelor trip. None of us we're going to object to that. We love playing golf, especially new courses.
Our friend Sam had heard good things about a place called Old Waverly in West Point, Mississippi. You can stay in condos or cottages on the property, and there are two golf courses to play there. You can also eat all of your meals there if you want. Really you don't have to leave the property if you don't want to. And honestly, we really didn't leave much. We had everything we needed right there.
We got to Old Waverly Thursday afternoon and left Sunday afternoon. Our group played nine holes on Thursday afternoon, nine holes on Friday afternoon and then 18 holes Saturday and Sunday. The courses were absolutely beautiful. You can play Old Waverly and another course just down the road called Mossy Oak Golf Club.
The golf was incredible and so was the food. We sampled their buffet for breakfast and lunch, and had dinner there Saturday night. Friday night we left the property and went to a place called Anthony's. Let me tell you if you're ever in West Point, Mississippi you have to try it, the food was so good, we were all really impressed.
