There are certain areas of the CSRA that I don’t get to visit as often as I’d like, Edgefield SC is one of those places. Well Saturday I got to go over to Edgefield to broadcast live at their block party Saturday afternoon. It was such a fun time! There were vendors all over the town square. Speaking of Edgefield’s town square, its such a cool vibe, it’s an old school town square and you just don’t find many of those around anymore. I went into Christine’s Farm To Fork, which is an awesome local restaurant, I can’t wait to take my wife back over there. I sampled a few things at the Carolina Moon Distillery. Of course I had my first burger at the Edgefield Billiard Parlor, which was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I also got to hang out with a bunch of our great Kicks listeners. They were excited to see us, and we were just as excited to see them. The party was cut short however, because Mother Nature had other plans. Per usual this time of year a pop up shower popped up right on top of us, and when I say right on top of us I mean it! There was lightning all around us, and we got soaked with rain. I looked like I’d taken a shower with all of my clothes on! But I didn’t let that spoil the fun. I had a great time in Edgefield and can’t wait to get back over there ASAP!
