Yesterday Jess, Shannon, and I had the honor of judging the 49th Annual Edgefield Christmas Parade. We can now say, It’s Christmas Time In Edgefield SC.  We had a blast as our host Calvin Henderson & Sherrie Harmon kept us in stitches laughing for over 2 hours and it’s a laugh that was well needed
It was so good to see so many Kicks 99 loyal listeners show up and come and talk to us. I live just outside of Edgefield and spend a lot of time there! It’s one of my favorite places to be in The C-S-R-A!
We started out with Jess doing a 2-hour live broadcast to get everyone ready for the parade and then we found our way over to “The Edgefield Pool Hall” For a late lunch. Burgers, Fries, and Sweet Tea before a parade, what more do you need?
We then took our places at the judge’s table where we were met with Candy, Flowers, and even more food. So hungry we were not. So once the parade started we strapped in for what would be two hours of laughing and having fun with our hosts Calvin Henderson & Sherrie Harmon

What a fun day it was to be in Edgefield yesterday. One of the highlights was when I saw my pastor Dr. Brandon Key watching the parade across from, I had Elmo run over and give him a big hug and the look on his face was priceless. Now I didn’t get a picture because I didn’t Know Elmo could run so fast.
Then as all good Christmas Parades, they must end and we went out with a bang in Edgefield. The big guy direct from the North Poll, Santa was there. I wasn’t going to tell Shannon and Jess, but He did tell me they were on the naughty list and my name was on the nice list this year. So I’m hoping Santa was telling the truth.
