There’s a burger, then there’s a gourmet burger. This is Farmhaus Burger in Augusta, Georgia. It’s so good, they need two locations to handle the burger lovers. I am in this category. Anyone who knows me knows I am always looking for a great burger.
I’ve talked about places from Charleston to North Carolina, and there are some great burgers out there, but I realized that I don’t talk about this burger restaurant very often. I believe it’s because it’s always so good that I take it for granted. It’s one of those places where I’ve never had a bad meal.
Farmhaus is one of the top burger joints in Georgia and South Carolina. The beef and buns are locally sourced.
According to their website, their dry-aged burgers are made from a custom grind of chuck, brisket, and short rib sourced from local Southeastern Angus Beef. Their buns are locally baked Artisan.
My go-to at Farmaus is the New Mexico burger: Hatch green chilies, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, and Duke’s mayonnaise. Also, a side of Haus cut Russett fries with sea salt and cracked pepper. Perfection.
Another favorite for many customers is the Farmstyle Burger, which is a burger topped with a sunny-side-up local farm egg, heirloom smoked bacon, smoked Gouda Cheese, and Dukes Mayo.
More Than A Burger Restaurant
Also, check out their Boozy Shakes, like a Bourbon Caramel Shake with Whiskey, caramel, and salt. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, check out the Gorilla Milk Shake with Vodka, Tequila, and Kahlua.
There’s something for everyone; I know you will love this place as much as I do.
Farmhaus has two locations in Augusta. 466 Flowing Wells Road, off I-20 and on Broad Street, downtown Augusta.
