Sea World In Orlando – Photos From Dub’s Fun Family Trip

We went to Sea World in Orlando last week, and of course, you know I brought back plenty of pictures. My wife, daughter, and I went down to see our side of the family in Florida last Thursday through Sunday. Now, we visit down there a bunch, and we've done a lot. What are some new things we could do down there? Where can we go that we haven't been before? We'd like to wait until our daughter is a little older before we do Disney or Universal Studios, but hey what about Sea World? I think that would be perfect!

I'd always heard about Sea World in Orlando, and we've driven past it a bunch, but we've never gone. Well, my wife has, but it's been years. Kelsey and I thought that Sea World would be a good introduction to theme parks for our daughter. It's not quite as packed as Disney or Universal, and there are things for little kids to do there. In fact, there is a whole area devoted to Sesame Street.

Our daughter Maddie loved the Sesame Street area! She loved the splash pad and the character parade. Of course, she was still a little too young to know about all of the sea animals, but she looked fascinated by them. Maddie was having so much fun that she didn't even take her afternoon nap until after we left the park. I really enjoyed our time at Sea World, but it also made me excited for when Maddie gets a little older and can really experience and enjoy the theme parks.

As far as if I'd recommend taking a toddler to Sea World, I think you should use your discretion. If you think your kid could handle it and have fun, then by all means take them! If you want more info on Sea World in Orlando, just click here.
