You've driven by Bruce's Bar and Grill on 421 many times, I know you have, so why haven't you stopped? The same question I asked myself a few weeks back. So you know what I did? I stopped. Then I came back again and can assure you I will be back.

Bruce's Bar and Grill is located at 1959 Augusta Road, Warrenville. Have you ever heard the saying don't judge a book by its cover? That is Bruce's. In a small white standalone building for 20 years, Bruce's Bar and Grill has been serving Warrenville and the surrounding area with cold drinks and homemade food, made with love.

What Makes Bruce's Bar And Grill Different

The people! It's that simple. When I say the people, I don't just mean the people who work there, I also mean the people who come into Bruce's. Yes, you and me. Bruce's is a place where you don't just become a regular, you become family. It's truly a hometown bar and grill. There's something for everyone at Bruce's. Families with kids of all ages are welcome to come in and sit down and enjoy some of the best food you'll find in Aiken County

Tuesday nights starting at 6 p.m. are Taco Tuesday, Weenie Wednesdays, and free pool starts at 6 p.m. on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday is fun too. .75 cents wings, $8.00 peel-and-eat shrimp, and free pool all night starting at 6 p.m.

Food At Bruce's Bar And Grill

When you see the name of the business and the words bar and grill in the title, you think basic bar food don't you? Well when it comes to Bruce's Bar and Grill, that is not the case. The food at Bruce's is homemade and made to order you will think you are sitting down at grandma's table. From burgers to wings, club sandwiches to nachos, and the list goes on and on.

Sundays are Southern cooking days. This past Sunday after church, yes, there was an after-church crowd that are regulars at Bruce's. I was one of them this past week with country-fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, field peas, and a slice of pecan pie. You'll see it in just a few and let me tell you, the picture doesn't do the taste justice.

Mondays are steak nights. Weekly specials include free pool, live music, dancing, and karaoke. Bruce's Bar and Grill offers daily drinks and lunch specials from 10 til 4 Monday - Friday. College football season isn't far away, so all the big-screen TVs will come in handy.

Come On In And Stay Awhile

I've been to Bruce's twice now and will be back. So, if you are looking for a place where not only can you enjoy cold drinks, great food, live music, dancing and so much more, then Bruce's Bar and Grill is for you.

There's one thing you will find at Bruce's that you won’t find in many places and that's relationships. Sitting there eating and taking the environment, the one thing I noticed was that everyone knew everyone, and I don't just mean the staff. It was the staff and the customers all having fun and enjoying their time together.

I know now why it's called a hometown bar and grill. To tell you the kind of place Bruce's Bar and Grill is, there was a dad with his two kids having lunch on Sunday, he decided to go outside and have a smoke. While they were outside, their food came so she went to tell them their food was ready. They came back in and started eating and being boys and misbehaving a bit, the bartender said, "Boys, ya'll behave and act right. We have people eating lunch." I loved it. Everyone is looking out for everyone. Grab the family, grab your friends, and head to Bruce's today. You'll be glad you did

Dollars on the wall? Yep, when I asked how that started. People just wanted their name on the wall and this was born.

As part of the daily special, dessert is part of the meal. I went with the pecan pie. This day it was a cobbler, banana pudding or pecan pie.
