Masters week is always great; being in a cool bar with many other golf fans makes it even better. After a day on the course, bars are full of patrons from all over and many locals, like me. It's a great way to feel how special this week is in Augusta. Best Bars Less Than Five Miles From The Masters.

Most patrons hang out on Washington Road this week, and there is no shortage of great places to go. As you'll see below, there is plenty of places to have some Masters week fun. Rhinehart's is always a good time and has been open since the mid-'80s. Think cold beer, fried fish baskets, and oysters. Pro Tip: Try the hamburger; it's huge and delicious! Doc's Porchside is near Rhinehart's, another local restaurant bar; Doc's is known for its great food and live music during Masters week. Plenty of cold beer and a big bar. They'll have Live music this week, too. Pro Tip: Try the Redneck Egg Rolls. House-smoked pulled pork, pimento cheese, and collard greens wrapped up and deep-fried. Crazy good!

Top Dawg is the new kid on the block and has gained a great local following. It's on Washington Road, and their bar is roomy and opens to a big patio. Great place to hang out any time, especially Masters Week. Pro Tip: Try the wings!

Hooter's always packed this week, but you can always find a place to sit and have a few cold ones, and you may run into a famous golfer.

More restaurants close by,  check them out here.

I did the mileage for you....see below.
