According to their research, AirportParkingReservations.com found that Augusta ranks number one as the top, most cost-effective spots for you and your significant other.
In Augusta, a three-star hotel costs as little as $54 a night. Plus, a meal for two with drinks averages around $74.

10. Portland, Oregon
The average for a three-star hotel in Portland is $80. As for a night out with dinner and drinks, you're looking at an average of $130. So for two nights with a night out, you're coming in under $300!
9. Baltimore, Maryland
The cost for a three-star hotel in Baltimore is a little higher at $87 per night. But when it comes to dinner and drinks, the average is slightly lower than Portland at just $113. So you'd still be coming in under $300. Of course, this doesn't include the costs it takes to get to the location, which will definitely add to the affordability.
8. Juneau, Alaska
This is one that would definitely cost quite a bit for us here in the Augusta area, since it would require a plane ticket... or a really long road trip. But the average cost for a three-star hotel in Juneau is $90. Dinner and drinks is slightly more affordable that our previous two spots, coming in around $101.50. Minus the plane ticket, you're looking at just over $280 for a two night stay with a night out.
7. Lincoln, Nebraska
For a three-star hotel in Lincoln, you're looking at an average of $88 per night. A night out with dinner and drinks is more affordable here, averaging just under $100.
6. San Antonio, Texas
A three-star hotel stay in San Antonio averages about $86. And a night out is slightly more expensive, at an average of $101.74.
5. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
The total cost of a 2 night stay with a night out in Oklahoma City is right at $250. The average three-star hotel stay is $86 per night, and dinner with drinks is around $78.

A three-star hotel stay in Newark is significantly different than our previous spots. The average is just $61 per night. Dinner and drink is a little more expensive than most of the others, coming in at $126. The total for two nights comes in at just $248.

There's another significant drop in cost for a three-star hotel costs when it comes to this city. The average is just $56. Dinner and drinks will average about $118.50. Your total cost for 2 nights will cost around $230.50.

The cost of a three-star hotel stay in Hartford is just slightly higher than Houston, but only by a $1. So the average stay is $57. Then dinner and drinks will cost you around $105. The total cost is around $219 for a two night stay with a night out.
