You can bring up politics, religion, or even family drama in conversations, but nothing beats this topic.  7 Unique Ways To Use The Treat You Love Or Hate-Candy Corn.   This is a topic that can divide families and friends.  Yes, it’s that serious!

After taking a poll,  it is almost a 50/50 split between people.  You love it and must have it or you hate it and never wanna see it again.  I personally love the pumpkin-shaped version.

This pyramid-shaped candy is divided into three sections of different colors.  It has a waxy texture and a flavor based on honey, sugar, butter, and vanilla. You either love it or hate it.   It’s a staple candy of the fall season and Halloween.

According to Wikipedia, it was first called “Chicken Feed.”  It came out in the late 1880s.  First made by The Goelitz Confectionery Company, now known as the  Jelly Belly Bean Company.

Fact’s Today About Candy Corn

  • Brach’s makes approximately 7 billion pieces of it per year.
  • 35 million pounds, or almost 9 billion pieces are produced yearly just at Halloween
  • October 30th has been named National Candy Corn Day.
  • Oreos and M&M’s also make special versions of each flavor after this candy.

We had people in our poll who said they like to mix candy corn with other food items, like peanuts and M&M’s.  Some people mix them with Cheerios, M&M’s, and popcorn.  And someone even said combining it with honey-roasted peanuts tastes like a Pay Day Candy Bar.

So I decided to take a look at ways to use this Fall candy from some of our creative friends on Tik Tok!
