Some of your favorite college football coaches were asked who their favorite country stars were. Some of them might surprise you, and some of them you can probably imagine what they'll say. I'll be honest, I don't care who they choose, I'm just so glad to be talking about college football again!

The season officially starts this weekend. Go Dawgs! Sorry, I had to get that out of the way real quick. I'm sure I don't have to tell you, country music and college football just kinda go hand in hand. A lot of country stars perform at college stadiums. ESPN's College Gameday has had several big-name country stars be the "guest picker" on Saturday morning. And let's not forget to mention at most of the college tailgate parties, you're going to hear country music more than any other genre.

Not all of your favorite coaches chose country stars, however. Some of them went with other artists. So let's see who they chose.

-Brent Key from Georgia Tech chose Jimmy Buffett
-Mario Cristobal from Miami chose Guns N Roses
-Mike Norvell from Florida State chose Bob Marley
-Mike Gundy from Oklahoma State chose Prince
-Chip Kelly from UCLA and Josh Heupel from Tennessee both chose Mumford and Sons
-Nick Saban from Alabama chose The Rolling Stones
-Billy Napier from Floria chose Coldplay
-Lane Kiffin from Ole Miss chose Taylor Swift

Now let's take a look at some of your favorite college football coaches' picks for their favorite country star.

Kirby Smart from Georgia chose Luke Bryan

This shouldn't really surprise anyone. Luke is a Georgia boy and never hides his love for The Dawgs!

Shane Beamer from South Carolina chose Darius Rucker

This is another one that really shouldn't come as a surprise. Darius is a Gamecock fan through and through!

Dabo Swinney from Clemson chose Garth Brooks

Mack Brown from North Carolina chose Eric Church

Here's another one that sticks with the "hometown boy" theme. Eric is from North Carolina and loves all things North Carolina sports.

Ryan Day from Ohio State chose Morgan Wallen

I was waiting to see who would say Morgan, I was surprised more SEC coaches didn't say Morgan was their favorite, considering he's from Tennessee.

Jimbo Fisher from Texas A&M chose George Strait

If someone didn't pick King George, I was going to be very upset!

Lincoln Riley from USC chose Kenny Chesney

Kenny loves football, so I knew he'd be the favorite of several coaches including the head coach of the Trojans.

Shawn Clark from App State chose Luke Combs

If the head coach from Luke' alma mater didn't pick him, I was gonna write a strongly worded email to Coach Clark!
