Does Augusta Offer The Secret McDonald’s Birthday Cake?

This may be a bit of a mystery to you but here we go.  Does Augusta offer the secret Mcdonald's birthday cake?  If you spend any time on TikTok, You may have seen posts about the cake.

It's called the “Ronald Birthday Cake” and if you drive up and ask for it, you can buy the cake.  Does this cake really exist?  After calling several CSRA locations of Mcdonald's, it doesn't seem to be available here.  Several people that I spoke to were very much aware of the cake and just as many were not.  One location I spoke with said that the cake is a thing.  The cake is just not available but here at home, you can't just pull up and ask for it.  Several TikTok'ers have proven that wrong, or have they?

According to a local McDonald's manager, your store has to offer a "Birthday Party"  package.  None of the CSRA locations offer parties any longer.  So I asked the manager I spoke to about the mystery of the cake. "It's real," she told me.  "If a store offers birthday parties, the cake comes with the party"  The cakes come in a case of 8 per box and they don't just keep them on site waiting for someone to get TikTok famous," according to the manager I spoke with.

According to The New York Post, TikTok sensation, Kayleigh Weeks, who goes by @kayrock93, revealed the secret menu item, a Ronald McDonald sheet cake, which costs $9.  The video shows the dense chocolate cake, with a screen-printed Ronald McDonald juggling in the center, being cut into a square. “Did you know McDonald’s sells 9-dollar cakes?”  Under that post in the comment section, it received over 11,000 comments from people who had no clue about this cake.

The cake does go back a ways.  In the 1980s and 1990s, the cake was part of your birthday party at Mcdonald's, just as the local manager here told me.  While different people on TikTok have gotten their hands on the cake, the price varies.  The price ranges from $9 to $29.  So till I get one, and I'm gonna keep trying, this could be a mystery that I can't solve.

This is one of my favorite people on Tik Tock.  That 40 year old guy pulled it off, or did he?  We will never know
