The SEC Championship Game is this weekend. It's one of the biggest games of the year. This year's game pits The Georgia Bulldogs against the Alabama Crimson Tide yet again. Any time these two teams get together, it's always a great game, and I don't think this Saturday will be any different.

So I know I didn't do any picks last week, I apologize, I was on vacation. The week before though, I went 5-1 with my picks. Currently, my record for 2023 is 50 correct picks and 22 incorrect picks. Hopefully, I can increase the wins this week. It's championship weekend, so I'll be picking not only the SEC game but the Big 12, Pac-12, Big Ten, and ACC Championship games as well.

I'll also pick one of the big NFL games this weekend too between the Eagles and the 49ers.

Let's get right into my pick for the SEC Championship Game. The game is scheduled for Saturday at 4 pm on CBS and Georgia is favored by 5.5 points. This game will either be a very low-scoring defensive game, or it'll be a shootout with each team scoring a ton of points. I don't think it'll be a blowout by any means. In the end though, I think Georgia pulls it out by 4 or less.

Dub's Official Pick- Georgia

Several of the games this weekend will have a lot to do with the shaping of the College Football Playoffs. The selection of the Top Four teams will be on Sunday at Noon.

Here are the rest of my picks for this week.

3 Washington Vs. 5 Oregon

This is the Pac-12 Championship game and it will be Friday night at 8pm on ABC and Oregon is favored by 10. The crazy thing is that Oregon is sitting outside the top four, but they're favored by double digits. I think Bo Nix is trying to prove he deserves the Heisman. I'll go with The Ducks, but I think it'll be less than 10.

7 Texas Vs. 18 Oklahoma State

This is the Big 12 Championship Game and its set for Saturday at Noon on ABC and Texas is favored by 15.5 points. I think this one will be pretty one sided. I'll take the Longhorns by two touchdowns. I think they're trying to prove the belong in the CFP Top Four.

2 Michigan Vs. 16 Iowa

This is the Big Ten Championship Game and its set for Saturday night at 8pm on FOX. Michigan is favored by 22. Like the previous game, I think Michigan will win this one pretty easily, and punch their ticket to the College Football Playoffs. Gimme The Wolverines by three touchdowns.

4 Florida State Vs. 14 Louisville

This is the ACC Championship Game and its set for Saturday night at 8pm on ABC. FSU is favored by 1.5 points. I've got the itch to pick an upset this week, and I think this might be the one. I'm gonna do it! I'm picking Louisville in the upset. I think they'll win by 3 or less.

The San Francisco 49ers @ The Philadelphia Eagles

This game is Sunday at 4:25 pm on FOX and San Francisco is favored by 3. These are two of the best teams in the NFL right now. I'm actually shocked that Vegas is picking San Fran when Philly is playing at home. I think the Eagles find a way to win this week, just like they have all season long. They've only got one loss on the season so far, and I don't see them getting their second one this week. I do think it'll be a close one, but gimme The Eagles by 7 or less.
