Did you know there are fast food chains with alcohol brands? It's true! Here are three fast food restaurants that have collaborated with beverage companies to create their own unique beer and spirits:
Hardee’s
Hardee’s teamed up with the Southern Grist Brewing Co in Nashville, TN to create a ‘Strawberry Biscuit Ale’. According to Southern Grist Brewing's website, ‘The Strawberry Biscuit Ale, from Southern Grist Brewing Co. and inspired by Hardee’s, is a full-bodied, cream ale that incorporates delicious hints of strawberry jam and buttermilk – satisfying both breakfast and craft beer lovers.’
Unfortunately, you’ll have to make the trip to one of Southern Grist Brewing Co.’s taprooms in Nashville to try it and they only ship the ale to a handful of states.
White Castle
Evil Genius Beer Company teamed up with White Castle to create a tangerine IPA called ‘It Hits Different’. PR Newswire says ‘It Hits Different was developed to be the perfect partner to White Castle's signature Sliders. The cheeky name is a nod to the two companies' legacies as tastemakers, creating a product that is one-of-a-kind and uniquely satisfying — there's nothing else like it.’ This one is also only available to a handful of states.
Arby’s
Arby’s will be releasing a smoked bourbon that the company’s website says will only be available to a few states…for now. Arbys.com describes the bourbon as ‘An aged bourbon whiskey smoked with hickory, mesquite, and pecan woods. These are the same woods used to smoke the meats on Arby’s Smokehouse Sandwiches, so you know this bourbon pairs well with everything at Arby’s. Except the drive-thru. Don’t pair it with that.’
