We are back from the CMA's in Nashville! KICKS 99 won small market station of the year, thanks to KICKS listeners! From Georgia-South Carolina To Backstage At CMA's, we give you a feel for it.

It was a great trip and I wanted to share some photos and videos with you. It's cool seeing artists everywhere you look and getting to see the behind-the-scenes stuff as they put the show together.

We actually did a pre-show segment with guitar pull star Parker McCollum giving us the award, but it was cut because of timing issues with the show. Hopefully, we'll get a copy of it and I'll share it with you here.

I loved the Loretta Lynn tribute as well as Alan Jackson's Lifetime Achievement award segment.

Also, when Cole did his song "She Had Me At Heads Carolina" Jo Dee Messina surprised the crowd on stage. I saw Jo Dee later in the hotel lobby and we chatted, but I didn't even think to ask for a photo with her. She was very nice and told me she lives in Georgia now.
