Time for more college and NFL football picks. It’s week five, and I haven’t had a losing week yet. Hopefully I didn’t just jinx myself. Last week, I went 4-2. The only two games I didn’t get right were the Clemson/Florida State game, and the Titans/Browns game. So far my grand total is 17-7. I’ve picked 17 games right, and 7 games wrong.

This week, as far as college goes, it’s all about the SEC. We’ve got some big time matchups on Saturday. We’ve got “The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry” as Georgia takes on Auburn on the road. Also there are two ranked SEC teams playing each other Saturday night as LSU travels to Ole Miss.

There are also some big games in the NFL on Sunday. Including an NFC South showdown between the Bucs and the Saints.

I can’t wait any longer so I’m going to go ahead and do the Georgia/Auburn game now! This game is set for Saturday afternoon in the 3:30 time slot on CBS. Georgia is favored by 14.5 points. In my opinion, this will be The Dawgs first true test. While they have four wins under their belts right now, they haven’t really been truly tested. This week is a big rivalry game, and its in Auburn. I do think that Georgia will find a way to win, but I like them by 10 and not quite by two touchdowns.

  • 22 Florida @ Kentucky

This game is Saturday at Noon on ESPN and Kentucky is favored by 1. Kentucky is undefeated so far this season, and Florida has been a bit inconsistent. I think The Wildcats find a way to win at home. Gimme Kentucky by 2.

  • 13 LSU @ 20 Ole Miss

This game is Saturday night at 6pm on ESPN and LSU is favored by 2.5 points. Ole Miss is coming off a loss to Alabama last week. I know they’re looking to rebound, especially at home. I know I’ll probably regret this, but gimme The Rebels by a field goal.

    Dub’s Official Pick- Ole Mis

  • The Miami Dolphins @ The Buffalo Bills

This game is Sunday at 1pm on CBS. The Bills are favored by 2.5 points. As much as I want to pick The Bills at home this week, I’m thinking the Dolphins might be the real deal this year. Either that, or they haven’t been truly tested. Buffalo went down to The Jets during week one, but they’ve put up over 30 points the last two weeks. I’m really torn here. This is definitely going to be a tight game, but I’m in the mood to take a risk. Gimme The Dolphins by 2.

  • The Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ The New Orleans Saints

This game is Sunday at 1pm on FOX. The Saints are favored by 3. The NFC South is pretty tight so far this season. The Bucs, Saints and Falcons are all 2-1. I’ll be honest, as a Falcons fan, I can’t really stand either team, I honestly wish they both could lose. However, I’m gonna go with the Saints at home by a touchdown.

Dub’s Official Pick- The New Orleans Saints

  • The Baltimore Ravens @ The Cleveland Browns

This game is Sunday at 1pm on CBS and The Browns are favored by 3. I think this will be another really close game , but I’m going to pick The Ravens by a touchdown in the upset, mainly because Kelsey’s family is from Baltimore and I think they would disown me if I picked against The Ravens.
