I’m a big Miranda Lambert fan, and have been for a while! Then when I learned her birthday was November 10th (today), I was even more excited that we’re both Scorpios. And my birthday is just two days after hers! So, anyway… I wanted to say, Happy Birthday Miranda Lambert!

What’s crazy is… I remember seeing Miranda back when I was in college.  At that point, she hadn’t had a HUGE break in the country music world.  It was probably 2007/2008 or so.  But I loved her back then, and still love her today.  She just seems like such a strong woman, that doesn’t take crap from anyone!  And the fact that she loves animals as much as I do… well, that’s another reason why we should be friends!

When she and Blake Shelton got divorced, I was honestly Team Miranda (no surprise, right?).  I’m not one to throw anyone under the bus, because I’ve been through a divorce. I know how bad it sucks.  And I also know how people talk.  But honestly… there are two sides to every story, and then there’s the truth. At the end of the day, what happens between a couple is NO ONE’S business but their own.  So let ’em talk.

I know there was also some talk when she met Brendan McLoughlin.  But I think they are absolutely adorable together, and I wish them the best!

Anyway, I just wanted to wish a Happy Birthday to Miranda Lambert, and share some of my favorite songs of hers.  So with that… here are my top 5 Miranda Lambert Songs!

  • Kerosene

It’s a classic Miranda song.  The album was released in March 2005. I just love the attitude with this one!

  • We Should Be Friends

Yes, Miranda… we should be friends!

  • Mama's Broken Heart

Being from a small town… I can relate to this so much.  And about “hiding your crazy”!

  • More Like Her

The softer side of Miranda.  But it’s just an absolutely beautiful song, and powerful lyrics!

  • Only Prettier

Just love the “insults” in this song that she puts so nicely!

  • A bonus... Hell On Heels

This is one she did with Pistol Annies.  Just such a good one, I couldn’t leave it out!
