I LOVE hot dogs, but they’re not that easy to find anymore. Yes, there are some places that still make them, but a few years back, it seemed like every restaurant had hot dogs.
I grew up in the restaurant business. My mom and dad owned a few small diners and hot dogs topped with my parent’s famous Gentry’s Drive In Chili was always our biggest seller. I still make the chili and have a couple of them every once in a while.
BTW, I read today that eating one hot dog takes about 35 minutes off your life, which means I may not make it through this story.
OK, I’m still here and craving a Gentry’s Drive In Hot Dog. Maybe, tonight! Below are a few places that have great dogs. Who am I missing?
