Illegal Baby Names in Georgia and South Carolina

For new parents, naming your baby is usually a pretty big deal. Many will spend weeks or months leading up to the baby's birth debating on a name.  While others want to wait until the child is born.  There are so many names out there... so it makes sense it takes time. You may decide to name the baby after a family member or friend.  Or maybe it's a role model that had a huge impact on your life.  And yes, some people even name their babies after characters from their favorite TV shows or movies. But, did you know there are some illegal baby names?

In Georgia, symbols, including accents, are prohibited. But, according to The Bump, in South Carolina, you could name your baby K8, because numbers and symbols (ex: M!ke) are both allowed.
