Jackson Dean tells CountryNow.com that his musical journey started after his home burned down. “It really started when our house burned to the ground. When we were re-building it, I would sit up there and play guitar. I didn’t have much else to do. So, my dad heard me one night, and he said, ‘Why don’t you learn a couple of songs, and I’ll take you to an open mic night?’ For a while, I didn’t want to do it. Then, I finally agreed to do it, and that was it. I was pretty hooked after that."
Kane Brown
Kane Brown tells Music Mayhem magazine that his wife doesn't approve of his bedtime routine with their daughter. "We love to be silly at bedtime. We make videos and giggle a lot. It might not be the best way to get her to wind down, but it sure is fun. My wife is not a fan of our routine. We keep doing it, but now we try to keep our giggles quieter so mommy doesn't hear us."
Shania Twain
Shania Twain is going to judge a reality TV singing competition in the UK. She posted that she will be joining Queen lead singer Adam Lambert on the judging panel. “Hi everyone. I am here in Las Vegas and I’m about to get on the stage to do a show. But I wanted to take a quick minute to say that I’m so excited about heading to the UK soon to join Starstruck panel. It’s a real honor. I am such a fan of the other artists on the panel, the judges — Adam, Beverly and Jason — I love all of you… I just look forward to being able to tell you that in person when I get there. I can’t wait to see all the amazing talent there, and all I can say is, let’s go ITV!”
