With the start of football season just around the corner, we’re craving ‘tailgate’ food and chili is definitely a staple at our house! I love trying new chili recipes and this one has been in the rotation because it’s one of our favorites! Also simple enough for my 11 year old daughter to make it so that’s exactly what she did! And here’s how she did it:

  • Chop an onion

    This was her first time chopping an onion and she did great!


  • Chop a red pepper

    She’s been a ‘pro’ at pepper chopping because she’s done it a time or two

  • Chop garlic and gather your other ingredients

    Mom helped with this step:)

  • Sauté peppers, onions, garlic until brown

  • Enjoy!
