I say this is ‘the best salad ever’ because I could eat it almost every day and most of the time, I do! My daughter loves it and so do my friends and family that I’ve shared this recipe with too.
The salad recipe comes from a restaurant in Florida called ‘Columbia House’ and the salad is called ‘The 1905’ salad. I just call it delicious and so does everyone else that’s tried it! You can follow the recipe here or you can follow the way I do it or make up your own way of preparing this delicious salad. However you make it, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. And it’s definitely a salad that eats like a meal. Enjoy!
What you’ll need
One head of lettuce
Deli baked ham
Hard Salami
Mozzarella or Provolone or Swiss cheese
Green olives
Minced garlic
Olive oil
Worcestershire Sauce
Garlic Salt
Italian seasoning
pepper
lemon

Chop lettuce, rinse, and spin dry

Slice your meats, cheese, and lemon

Assemble salad on a plate
Assemble lettuce on plate and add meat, cheese, and olives.

Add croutons and dressing
The recipe says to make the dressing separate, but I prefer to add the ingredients of the dressing one at a time on my salad. So I first add the minced garlic, then squeeze the lemon, then add the Worcestershire, then add the croutons and then the olive oil. Then I sprinkle garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and pepper on top.

And then we enjoy!
