Getty ImagesThe official list of the most popular baby names is out. This comes from the Social Security Administration, so you know its legit. Apparently not much has really changed as far as the list goes. This year's list looks pretty similar to last year's list. If you're in the process of trying to pick a name for your baby, hopefully this helps.
Last year before our daughter was born, and before we knew we were having a girl, the name picking process was hard. My wife and I had a list of boy names, and a list of girl names. We didn't want something too common. However, we also didn't want something too far out of left field either.
I'm not going to lie, we looked at a few lists like this to help us come up with ideas. There are some beautiful names on this list, but I feel like one is missing from the top 10. Where is Madelyn? Thats not a top 10 name? Really?! I mean I can understand if you go with the different spelling, but its not Top 10? I'm shocked!
