What Augusta Googled Most This Year -Internet Companies Vie For Market Dominance

While there are still a few weeks left of the year, Google is already doing a year in review!  They have a "Local Year in Search 2022" feature. It lets you see the trending topics in any state or city!  So, do you want to know what Augusta Googled most this year? Here we go...

Oxtails

Apparently, Augusta was the ONLY place in the United States that "oxtails" was the top trending "near me" search!

The top trending animal searched for in Augusta? The great eared nightjar.  Yes, we had to look it up! It's a type of bird that's currently on the amber list for endangered birds. They live mostly in Southeast Asia.

Best Breakfast

Augusta was one of only 2 places with "best breakfast" as a top trending "near me" search.  The other area was Peoria, Illinois.

Top Recipe

The recipe Augusta searched for most in 2022... Oyster Stew!

Music Choice

Rap was Augusta's top music genre of the year.
