Carrie Underwood Fires Back At Negative Nancy
Carrie Underwood is not having it.
This morning, the country star took to Twitter to address a recent tweet criticizing her 2018 NFL theme song, “Game On.”
Apparently, not everyone is a big fan of the tune, and one person in particular took to Twitter to voice their disapproval.
The person in question, who works for Sports Illustrated, got a response from Carrie.
Let’s just say, Carrie responded with class, but also put the woman in her place.
In the tweet, the country star acknowledged that she is aware that her music may not be for everyone, but she is very blessed to be able to share her talent with her fans.
She also made it clear that she is honored to be a part of Sunday Night Football.
Hey, I know my music isn’t for everyone, but I love what I do and I love being a part of @SNFonNBC ! ❤️ I am one lucky lady! I also love women who build other women up...just saying...👍 https://t.co/F4yuNGKj0M

Rather than call the woman out blatantly, Carrie took the high road by saying she loves women who build each other up.
Boom!
Carrie followed the initial tweet up with another tweet that encouraged people to spread love and positivity, with a simple reminder that love ALWAYS wins.
Today, let’s be positive. Let’s be NICE to each other. Let’s do something nice FOR someone else. Smile at a stranger. It’s the start of a new week! Today is precious! Don’t waste it! Sending love and cheer to you all!!! ❤️❤️❤️ #LoveWins
