Law enforcement said the man has been going to Clarkson's Los Angeles home, and dropping off gifts. The gifts include cards, plants and other random items. The award-winning singer has never met the man before and has yet to meet him face-to-face. He started trespassing on her property over the past month. However, her security thought it to be concerning and called LAPD to file a report. Their Threat Management department is now investigating.
Law enforcement is concerned with the fan's alleged behavior. They do not know if he means harm to the television host. Sources say the "Stronger" singer's surveillance footage shows the man dropping off the gifts on her porch, so the police are using that to try to identify him for a background check. Once the information has been gathered, the LAPD will talk to him and decide on whether or not to arrest him, get a restraining order or involve mental health services.
Over the last few days, Clarkson has released some pretty cool collaborations, the first being a duet with Dolly Parton on her show singing "9 to 5." The next day, she released her live performance of "Santa Can You Hear Me" with her fellow former Voice coach Ariana Grande last year on streaming services.
Kelly Clarkson's "Kellyoke" covers have been our favorite segments of The Kelly Clarkson Show. The singer and talk show host has covered musical legends from before her time such as Alanis Morisette, Radiohead and Anita Ward to newer artists like Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes and Sam Smith. Her Kellyoke covers have been such a success, Clarkson released an EP this summer with songs "Blue Bayou" by Linda Ronstadt, "Call Out My Name" by The Weeknd, "Happier Than Ever" by Billie Eilish, "Queen of the Night" by Whitney Houston, "Trampoline" by Shaed and "Fake Plastic Trees" by Radiohead.
"After singing over 500 covers on my talk show, I'm so excited to announce that my new EP #KELLYOKE is coming June 9th," Clarkson wrote on Instagram. "It will include six covers that I recorded in the studio... and it's available for pre-order!"
Clarkson said in a press release that picking just six songs to put on the album was nearly impossible. “Music is in the DNA of everything I do, so when The Kelly Clarkson Show started we knew it was the perfect way to kick off every episode," Clarkson said. "Over 500 songs later, and we’re still not running out of amazing artists to pay tribute to. Picking just six was near-impossible, but these songs have been some of my favorites. Thanks for singing along with me y’all!”
As we previously reported, it looks like Clarkson is set to return as a coach for the upcoming season of The Voice. Blake Shelton announced last night (October 11) that this upcoming season with Clarkson will be his last one after 12 years of being a judge. Joining Clarkson as judges is Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan
