Wynonna Joins Reba On ‘The Voice’ As Mega Mentor
Wynonna has been added to NBC’s The Voice as Reba’s “Mega Mentor.” Judd will mentor the artists who have made it through the Battle Rounds as teams prepare for the three-way Knockouts beginning November 6.
Reba posted a video clip of her and Wy from behind the scenes at the show on Instagram. In the clip, Reba says, “I love her being on ‘The Voice.’ We’re neighbors in Tennessee, and we have to get out here in L.A. to get to see each other.” She added, “We’ve been on shows together forever.” Wy adds, “I know, and when I found out I was doing it, it’s one of the reasons I decided to do this.”
Reba captioned the video clip on Instagram, “Surprise! I am so excited to have my friend @wynonnajudd join us at @nbcthevoice as this season’s Mega Mentor. Wy is the perfect person for this, and I can’t wait for you to see all the great advice she gives to these talented artists. Tune in 11/6 on @nbc!”
Judd became a musical force with the release of her 1992 self-titled 5-time platinum solo debut album. She went on to win five Grammy awards and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame with her late mother, Naomi. Her highly anticipated solo tour, “Back to Wy,” is currently underway.
The Voice airs Mondays (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) and Tuesdays (9-10 p.m. ET/PT) on NBC and next day on Peacock.

McEntire is as busy right now as she’s ever been. We talked recently (10/27) about everything she has going on and asked if she ever slows down. Reba admitted, “It’s hard, and Rex (Linn, her boyfriend) really brings that up to me a lot. He says, ‘The hardest thing for you to do is be still and be present in the moment.’ I have worked on that for years to not plan, scheme, or think about tomorrow. Tomorrow is tomorrow, and yesterday was yesterday; you can’t fix either one of them, and I’m just waiting on God to tell me my next move and what I’ll be doing.”
She continued, “In the meantime, I enjoy life. I love to purge a house. AnI love to clean out a closet in a heartbeat because that’s what brings me pleasure. I love getting to hang out with friends and family, go see a movie, have dinner, have people over, and play games. It’s very seldom that I just sit and not do anything.”
