Parker McCollum and his wife Hallie welcomed their first child, a boy, into the world last week (8/8). The happy couple posted the news on Instagram.

Parker captioned three photos of the couple and the new baby boy in the hospital, "Major Yancey Tyler McCollum 8/8/24."

When we chatted with the singer in 2023, before he knew he was going to be a dad, the newlywed told us of having kids, "You know, it's knocking on my door, and sometimes I think about it, and at some point during the day, it would kind of cross my mind, and I will look in the back seat, and there's gonna be a damn car seat back there if I'm not careful."

Parker added, "I have a great dad and great grandparents, and I have nieces and nephews now, and I look forward to that on my own for sure. But then sometimes, when I'm going to the airport or something, I'm like, 'Hell no. There's no way I can't do that right now.' But we wouldn't be surprised if that happened soon."

McCollum and his wife announced they were expecting their first in February. At the time, Parker and Hallie both posted the news to their Instagram accounts.

With a photo of the couple in silhouette in bathing suits and sharing a kiss. The couple captioned the photo, "God's little blessing. We love you so much already, Baby M!"

On McCollum's Insta Stories, he posted a photo of his chocolate lab with a blue scarf and a paw that read: "Ruger is going to be the best big brother ever."

Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are a recent country music couple to have a baby as they welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Sienna Grace Pardi, into the world in Nashville yesterday (7/16).

The happy father of two girls posted photos of himself and Summer holding the new bundle in the hospital. He captioned the sweet post, "Officially full-time girl dad. Sienna Grace Pardi just completed our Pardi of 4."

"7-16-24 6lb 12oz 11:47 am 19inches."

We talked with Jon recently when he celebrated his latest chart-topper at a party in Nashville. He told us of becoming a dad for the second time, "I am definitely an experienced father now. I remember the nurse watched me and Presley's first diaper, and she was like, 'So, you guys are new parents, Hugh?'"

He added, "She was like, 'I could tell by the fifteen wipes you just used.' So, we definitely use less wipes for diaper changes now."
